Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you’ll be welcomed After check-in, visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), a majestic fortress-monastery that showcases classic Bhutanese architecture and serves both administrative and monastic purposes. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu, Visit the Buddha Dordenma, and the National Memorial Chorten, a revered stupa where locals gather to pray and meditate. stay in Thimphu.
Journey towards Punakha through picturesque mountain roads. En route, visit Punakha Dzong, arguably the most beautiful dzong in Bhutan, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, visit Chimi Lhakhang for a night stay in Punakha.
Drive back toward Paro via Dochula Pass (3,100 m), which offers panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas. It’s a spiritual and scenic stopover. Overnight stay en route or in Paro.
Drive back to Paro. Spend your evening exploring the local market, handicraft shops, or just take a walk around the tranquil town. You may also visit the National Museum if time allows. Overnight stay in Paro.
Today is the spiritual highlight of your journey. Be on a guided hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). The hike is moderately challenging but deeply rewarding. Overnight stay in Paro.
